MTVs downtown is an absolute work of art and would've been so fun to watch more of but honestly there's a high chance if it got a reboot it wouldn't even be half as good, but maybe someone could pull it off and make a reboot just as good or even better. Idk

Honestly? I love this show. It was so unnecessarily edgy and vulgar, and that’s what it was making it special. It deserved better, but unfortunately the creators’ actions lead to the quality drop in S3, eventually canceling it (not to mention that horrendous movie). And even tho it’s unlikely, I’d love to see a reboot of it. Ya know, new challenges, jokes, maybe even characters! But knowing its rep, I don’t think that will ever happen…

Mission Hill is _the_ definitive animated series of the 90s which perfectly captures the vibe of the era for so many. I understand there are so many from that time period that we loved more and were arguably better, but how many of them encapsulated the adult life of the 90s and early 00s quite like this show?

I never understood how some fans of the show disliked the movie. Some buds and I watched the full show and movie over a few weeks and thought the movie was just fine. It was trashy but self-aware of its trashiness, lack of direction and complacency. It's like, three layers of irony deep. They made something shitty, knew full well how shitty it was, and they revelled in it. It felt like the perfect blow-out to a candle well past its wick. Incredibly witty, insightful, hilarious and ridiculous show. Definitely a guilty pleasure nowadays lol.

How come my favorite episode wasn't animated? It's just not fair. I wanna see Gwen and Andy finally getting in a relationship... That and Gwen and Posie sexy dance or Jim singing lol

it is a crime against humanity that this show never did good I would want more episodes but unfortunately it has been 25 years and that huge gap would ruin a season 2 as times have changed and reboots/continuation's are overdone not to mention studio meddling would ruin what made the show good
